Highland Park, IL – Sandberg Law has joined “Together and Together Again” - Benefit Concert for the Highland Park Community Foundation.

In sponsoring this event, Sandberg Law was one of many local and national companies (and many individuals) donating to this charity event. 100% of the net proceeds will be donated directly to those impacted by the mass shooting in Highland Park, the Highland Park Community Foundation established a July 4th Highland Park Shooting Response Fund.

On Wednesday, July 27th at 8 p.m. CT a very special virtual concert took place at the plant-based tea house Madame Zuzu’s in Highland Park, which is owned by Smashing Pumpkins leader William “Billy” Corgan and his partner, clothing designer Chloé Mendel. This virtual concert, titled “Together and Together Again,” streamed for free on The Smashing Pumpkins’ YouTube Channel.

They are, also, selling merchandise designed by artist Gary Baseman, with all proceeds to be donated directly to the Highland Park Community Foundation to help those impacted by the mass shooting in Highland Park. The contributions from the event helped to raise in excess of $250,000.

The goal of the event is to heal together through music. In addition to performances by Billy Corgan, the event included incredible performances by harpist Janelle Lake, jazz saxophonist Frank Catalano and his quartet (featuring Jimmy Chamberlain from the Smashing Pumpkins), electronica duo Bob Moses (also set to play at Lollapalooza this weekend), chamber music’s Lincoln Trio, alt-rocker Sierra Swan and her father, country artist Billy Swan, known for his 1974 hit “I Can Help”, and Perry Farrell (Lollapalooza festival founder, and frontman forJane’s Addiction and Porno for Pyros).

Billy Corgan debuted a new song called "Photograph" during the benefit show last night. The song was inspired by the tragic mass shooting during a Fourth of July parade. You can listen to "Photograph" which is around the 1:37:00 mark of the livestream video of the show.
