53-year-old Male Suffers Traumatic Brain Injury After Fall Down Restaurant Stairs

This lawsuit results from a fall down stairs on June 13, 2009, at approximately 1:00 a.m., at La Humita/El Balcon, which is an Ecuadorian restaurant/lounge located at 3466 N. Pulaski Road, Chicago, Illinois 60641. M-53 contended that the dangerous condition of the stairs caused his fall.

Plaintiff sustained a traumatic brain injury (“TBI”) that included right front subdural hematoma, bilateral subdural hemorrhage, and bilateral temporal lobe hematoma, as well as left temporal linear skull fracture and left zygomatic arch fracture. Plaintiff’s wife, also, had a loss of consortium claim.
