Craig M. Sandberg Appointed by U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit to Represent Individual Convicted of Conspiracy Related to Sex Trafficking

Chicago, Illinois – Following a jury trial, Defendant was found guilty of conspiracy to commit various offenses against the United States in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 371 (Count 1); sex trafficking of children or by force, fraud, or coercion in violation of 18 U.S.C. §§ 2 and 1591(a)(1) and (b)(2) (Counts 6s, 8s, 10s, 12s, 14s, 16s, and 18s); and transportation of a person with intent that the person engage in prostitution in violation of 18 U.S.C. §§ 2 and 2421 (Counts 7s, 9s, 11s, 13s, 17s, 20s, and 21s). The district court sentenced Defendant to 324 months imprisonment.
