Kingsport Physician Named in Two Separately-Filed Medical Malpractice Lawsuits Involving Filshie Clips in Sullivan County, Tennessee

Kingsport, TN – Two 30-year old women filed separate lawsuits against a Kingsport, TN physician for medical malpractice, medical battery, and breach of contract related to the physician's use of Filshie clips-without advising them of the risks and without obtaining prior consent of the women for the permanent application these particular medical devices.

WHAT: Medical malpractice complaints filed in Brown v. Mountain States Med. Grp., et al. (Case No. C41754(M)) and Thorpe v. Mountain States Med. Grp., et al.(Case No. C41755(C)).
