King County (WA) Jail Health Services Named in Medical Malpractice Lawsuit Involving Pretrial Detainee

Seattle, WA – 37-year old male pre-trial detainee in the King County Correctional Facility ("KCCF" or "King County Jail") filed his medical malpractice lawsuit due to the acts and omissions of members of the King County Jail Health Services ("KCJHS"). Allegations include (1) failing to provide the plaintiff with protections due to his recent diagnosis of syncope at an outside facility resulting in falls and (2) failing to provide the plaintiff with necessary medical care, which resulted in, inter alia, traumatic severe spinal cord compression and permanent nerve injury.
