M-55 brought these claims against the Medical Director (Parthasarathi Ghosh, MD) and certain wardens (Terry McCann and Marcus Hardy) at Stateville Correctional Center ("Stateville") for their deliberate indifference to his serious medical need, namely, delay/denial of his glaucoma medication that was used to maintain his intraocular pressure (“IOP”). At the time, Dr. Ghosh was employed by Wexford Health Sources, Inc. M-55 alleged that, as a result of the defendants’ deliberate indifference to his serious medical condition his eyesight was damaged.

Settlement was reached shortly before the matter was scheduled for trial.
